Ford Self-Driving Cars?

It is certain that Ford and Google side by side, showed their support to autonomous cars at a hearing held by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.  Now they are moving closer to developing their very own driverless car! Driverless cars could benefit the disabled who cannot operate vehicles and drivers who are under the influence.

After the large number of people who died in car accidents in 2014, Mark Rosekind, the nations top auto safety regulator believes that driverless technology will reduce this number to a significant amount. Some of these technologies include automatic breaking and steering, all geared towards safety for the driver and passengers in the vehicle.

Although Ford is solely focusing on creating coalitions with other supporters of autonomous vehicles right now, we can see a huge future for Ford with the development of cars that will not only be safer but will be a massive technologic advancement for the entire Ford Motor Company. What do you think about the future of self- driving cars?
